A one-day seminar —

IMPORTANT CHANGE: We are delighted that the Rt Hon Lord Smith of Finsbury, Director of the Clore Leadership Programme will be giving the opening address at the Performance as Knowledge seminar.

Because of his other pressing commitments that day, we are moving the start of the day forward to 9:30am (registration and coffee 9:00am onwards.)

Chris Bannerman, Head of ResCen, presents a seminar to examine the state of affairs in England regarding the archiving of live performance. The seminar will address (not exclusively) the following areas:

• the range of existing archive provision
• gaps in the provision
• achieving successful co-ordination and distribution of what is available
• solutions for the current & future provision of archiving
• funding
• dissemination in the digital age.
