‘This walking thing’ symposium

‘Rewind’ performance

Cat Hope’s performance relocated to NRLA

Deleted scenes
Found myself on the panel for the Symposium, as all the Brits were. Alistair Maclennan and I both referring to Zen as an influence. I showed [on video] the arrival of Simon Whitehead at the ResCen Nightwalking conference last year. Everything was relevant but I had the urge to frame and steer the event.

Remembered looking back on this log in the heat of perf prep [Tuesday] and printing out some pages to refer to.

Maybe I’ve wound down, because the lunch at a Midland pub was a tantalizing highlight. Or maybe been in the dark industrial space for too many hours.
Cat Hope’s performance was far more spectacular for being outside of a theatre space. She became a vulnerable being within a hostile wriggling environment.

‘Rewind’ mesmerising and memorable. The line between performer and breakfast companion very extreme, as Lily span for sixty minutes as a foreign body.

Temptations of the Midland pub led to a thwarted ‘deleted scene’ as five of us, after hours, waited for non-existent taxis and trains for one or two hours, who knows.
