Interview and photo-shoot for The Australian [daily national]
Rosie Dennis confirms and will arrive from Sydney on Oct 21st
Significant overview-thinking on Eleanor’s Falcon in Perth Central Library

Interview is back in the Powerhouse again, surrounded by monumental machines and memories. Sharon Flindell [curator] and myself. This would be good coverage for the festival. So there is a complex agenda, representing my practice, the art form and the event to a reporter with her own agenda – funding issues. It seems to go well, but the morning has gone.

Functional action e.g. taping the floor
Visual statement at the start? Mapping, like a house plan?

A harder edge somewhere
Somehow the time devoted solely to conceptualising the performance whittles down to 70 minutes in the library. Was this a resistance?

Probably but I do get going. And it seems like the first quality thinking in some time. Can re-work the sequence with Rosie live, discarding the pre-recorded material. Can question the structure again, moved from Twitch/Hello [governed by timed sequences] to Architecture of Belief [linear, sequential and known] to a combination, and now another re-look from scratch. Can think of it visually, take it more to heart, listen again to related music.
