1. Practicals and Methods 2. Intuitions and insights 3. Freeflow 4. Tania’s view
Day one of the 3-day Workshop 1. Each day begins at The Powerhouse, within the network of empty railway sheds.

Ten people have signed up. Four of the women are mothers. For Kate, these three days will be the longest time spent away from her young son.
Consider using the grape vines [growing outside the sheds] in the performance. The men must have planted, tended and trained them.

Some people are more fluid and articulate without words [from the silent walk].
The Powerhouse has a staggering interior, full of vast now-static now-silent machinery, ornate details, and an ever-present smell of oil, dust and steel. Man's world, now vacant and neutralized. Still chalk messages from the last workers “I am broken hearted…thought I had a job for life…”

We’ve been given this cavernous space for both workshops. Overwhelmingly laden with meaning and resonance. Just spending time here makes its impact.
Silent walk is always different. New city but not for the others. You were funnier. Everything was. Clothes displays and mannequins in Myers.

Teeth-whitening commercials. Real estate. Sitting on steps together but not, change of physical space, each person within and collective without. In the know.
