I’m doing one-to-ones a lot with individuals now. Like mentoring. Why is this going so well? Is it me? Is it the context? Is it that I’m rarely teaching formally now so don’t have that ‘tutorial’ framework around it. Maybe it’s the build-up in the two-week process that led to this point. Maybe it’s the quality of contact. Maybe it’s finding my place of reference which feels secure and valued here. Maybe I’m kind of talking to myself in a way that's less easy in the UK. It’s also like actualising the network of relationships that this project aims for. So every conversation, every perspective shared, each insight, contributes to the greater whole beyond this particular conversation we're having, without agenda. And there’s also an implicit relationship to that day of mentoring I designed for Deprivation and Overload in December. time plan
